Is technology getting relaxed?

My topic is about technology in mordern life, either on the Internet or cellphones. Nowadays, people have many choices to relax after working hard, they can hang out with friends, spend time with family, chilling on the phone with close friends, or entertaining on the Internet. More and more people consider Internet and cellphone as vital things in their life, is it good or not? How are they dangerous if people think like that?

I've just found out 2 articles that support for my paper.
The first article, the New York times said that teenagers' using internet and cellphones is not bad as adults and their parents think.
The second one, the article said about the mental health pros and cons and the internet.

Hey guys, I'm still thinking what I want to write for the Final Paper. Well, I think I will list some topics which I think they are good to write and argue about. I hope you guys can give me advice to choose the best topic ;)
